Remidi-19 was formed by 5 high school students from Arizona. After the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus in early 2020, we created the organization as our own personal emergency initiative to respond to the crisis, noting its widespread effects on our very own community. While national public health efforts were much better left to the professionals, we noticed that little had been researched in the applications of unique technology such as blockchain and machine learning in mitigating the social effects of this disease. Thus, as a team of 5 students with an extensive understanding of such fields, we got to work.
To alleviate the national social repercussions of COVID-19, our organization engages and promotes a number of tools and ailments, all powered by cutting-edge technology. We primarily utilize machine learning and blockchain networks to predict and securely transfer data regarding the spread of the virus in the near future. In other words, our models can determine how dangerous the virus will be in a given region of the world at a given time, and we post this information on our website for the public safety. We also have recently expanded to publicly promoting the use of sanitizing products and surgical masks as a means to thwart the spread of COVID-19. Using our model's predictions, we can most accurately determine which regions will need these ailments the most, and from there, we dispatch the necessary goods to their necessary locations.
Our organization is centered in Scottsdale, Arizona but our operations are spread across the country. In short, wherever the virus will be, our operations will be, be it a city in China or a county in Canada.
